The excutive chairman of Olorunsogo local government in Oke Ogun area of Oyo state, Hon. Qozeem Olayanju has hailed the Oyo state governor, Seyi Makinde, pledging to continue to complement his efforts at developing the state.
Qozeem Olayanju, a former Oyo state assembly member, stated that his administration would continue to support and complement the efforts through its series of programs and activities for people at the grassroots.
The Igbeti-born young politician made the statement in his office while discussing with journalists after celebrating his first 100 days as executive chairman of Olorunsogo local government.
Olayanju, while lauding the Makinde’s efforts on several developmental projects in Oke Ogun and other areas of the state, said the governor has continued to justify the trust the people of Oyo state have in him.
“We got a lot of positive feedback and commendations from our people before and during the celebration of our 100 days in office. All that we were able to achieve in the last 100 days is just the tip of the iceberg; Governor Seyi Makinde’s PDP-led administration prioritizes the provision of good governance, and that is our administration’s watchword in Olorunsogo local government.
” We will continue to replicate the governor’s developmental strides at the grassroots level for our people to also benefit from the dividends of democracy
“No doubt, the governor’s effort has transformed the state’s infrastructure, education, Agriculture, healthcare, transportation, and security sectors. His
developmental strides are unprecedented, and we are proud to associate with his achievements and have no choice but to start doing our best to complement his efforts and sustain his administration’s legacy.
“As I said, our achievement in the last 100 days is small but very noticeable. Within the short time of our administration, we were able to provide what our people needed; the young, old, visitors, and even the staff of the local government were able to benefit in our 100 days in office.
“We have already continued from where we stopped, we have almost more than 1,000 days to go,” Olayanju said.
