Member Representing Ibadan North West/South West Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Honourable Adedeji Stanley Olajide popularly known as Odidi Omo has congratulated the new Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye Orumogege III over his coronation.
Odidiomo in a statement made available to newsmen, on Tuesday, tasked the new monarch on the development of Ogbomoso land and Oyo state in general.
He urged the monarch to deploy his wealth of experience and use his connection for the development of Ogbomoso.
The Chairman, House Committee on ICT and Cybersecurity also congratulated the people of Ogbomoso land over the coronation ceremony.
He also commended the Governor Seyi Makinde-led Oyo state government for allowing the will of people and choice of kingmakers to prevail in the selection process.
The statement reads in part: “Let me use this opportunity to congratulate the new Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Ghandi Olaoye, Orumogege III over his emergence and coronation as the 21st Soun.
“Kabiyesi is a man of many parts who have served in different capacities across the globe. I want to urge him to deploy his wealth of experience and connections to develop Ogbomoso land and Oyo state in general.
“Congratulations to the sons and daughters of Ogbomoso land. Congratulations to Kabiyesi!”
