Ahead of the local government election, the Publicity Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, Engineer Akeem Olatunji has donated a bus to the party’s candidate in Oluyole local government area, Mr Settle Olaide Popoola.
Olatunji made the donation on Thursday at a Ramadan lecture at the ancient Mapo Hall in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The Ramadan lecture was organized by Seyi Makinde Support Group under the leadership of Mr Settle Olaide Popoola. The 3rd edition was delivered by Alhaji Daud Alawiye.
Presentation of bus key was done by Senator Kola Balogun who was represented Alhaji Ganiyu Gandi.
While speaking, Olatunji expressed confidence that with the good work of Engineer Seyi Makinde, PDP will win all posts in the forthcoming local government elections.
He said the donation was done to support the party and its candidates in the local government.
He hailed the leadership of the party in Oluyole and the state.
