A notorious kidnap kingpin, Bolaji Shittu was among criminal suspects paraded yesterday by the Oyo State Police Command, Eleyele, Ibadan.
Shittu, who had been on the Command wanted list and an armed robbery gang who specializes in snatching motorcycles at gun point in various parts of the Ibadan metropolis.
The 40-year old, who had participated in series of kidnapping across the state alongside his gang members had carried out successful operations and collected huge sums of money from the his victim, was also paraded.
However, Oyo State Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Odude said the Command aside from the items and ammunition recovered from the suspects, was also able to rescued a 39 years-old woman and her 7year old son who were kidnapped in their home at Soka area of the capital city barely two weeks ago.
The victims, Ganiyat Yisau and Feranmi Adaramaja who had spent eight days at the kidnapers den in Ayegun area of the state were said to have suffered serious torture while in custody but were eventually rescued by the Sanyo Division of the Command with the effort of the Commands Anti-kidnapping Squad.
