Dr Usman Ololade Bakare has joined the family, friends and progressives in Oyo State to celebrate and congratulate his boss and strategic leader, the Chairman, Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS), Dr Zacch Adedeji on his 48th birthday anniversary.
Dr Bakare, the cyber security expert described Chairman of the Revenue generating agency, Adedeji as a leader whose commitment to transparency, efficiency and innovation has redefined public finance management in Nigeria with the recent tax reforms law.
Dr Bakare said, Dr Adedeji is making purposeful reforms, improved revenue performance and restoration of confidence in government institutions. Bakare said NRS Chairman has demonstrated that public servants can deliver measurable value to the people through discipline, professionalism and strategic thinking.
“I deeply appreciate Dr Zacch Adedeji’s contributions to sustainable development. Internally generated revenue is the lifeblood of governance and De Adedeji’s stewardship from being Commissioner for Finance in Oyo State and currently, NRS Chairman, has ensured that Nigeria is better positioned to invest in infrastructure, education, healthcare and social welfare”.
Bakare remarked that beyond the official role, Dr Adedeji’s humility, accessibility and dedication to mentoring younger professionals stands him out as a true leader.
“I pray God grants Dr Adedeji many more years in good health, wisdom and strength to continue serving the country with distinction”.
