Oyo State African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate, Senator Olufemi Lanlehin, has expressed his readiness to return smiles to the faces of our people and prosperity to their lives.
Lanlehin said this at a campaign rally in Surulere/Ogo Oluwa Federal Constituency in Ogbomosho zone, on Wednesday.
Speaking to a large crowd in Ajaawa shortly after meeting the royal fathers, Lanlehin said “with our proposed plans on agriculture, through the revitalisation of farm settlements; our health system through functional primary healthcare centres, and the establishment of cottage industries, in proximal distance to these farm settlements, Oyo State is in for rapid development.”
Urging party supporters to remain committed and steadfast in what he termed, “the struggle to liberate Oyo State”, Lanlehin reminded them of the need to intensify house to house campaigns and “to continue preaching the ADC gospel to ensure the party wins handsomely in all the elections.”
“Beginning from the National Assembly elections, let us go out and vote ADC massively, so everyone will know that ADC is indeed the people’s darling,” Lanlehin said.
Lanlehin, accompanied by Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, Senator Gbenga Babalola, Chief Lowo Obisesan, and Honourable Wale Adegoke, promised the people a government that prioritises their welfare and places them at the centre of governance.
In attendance was Alhaji Basiru Lawal, who is the Director General of his campaign organisation, and two of his deputies, Honourables Omotayo Oyetunii, and Ladi Oluokun.
Also present was Honourable Peter Odetomi, ADC candidate for Ogbomoso North/South/Oriire Federal Constituency, and Oyo State ADC executives led by Alhaji Ahmed Ayinla and Alhaji Wasiu Emiola, chairman and cecretary respectively.
