The Chairman/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of DAKA Foundation, Chief (Dr) Kazeem Adesina Abidikugu popularly known as KSO has felicitate Muslims Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid- el – Kabir.
Abidikugu who was recently conferred with honorary titles of Agba-Akin Bobajiro of Ibadanland in a statement on Friday said he rejoices with Governor Seyi Makinde, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Akinloye Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I), the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul – Ganiyy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, the Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja and other residents of the state for witnessing this year’s Eid, wishing them peaceful Sallah Celebrations.
Abidikugu, a United Kingdom based Psychiatric Consultant urges the Muslims to celebrate moderately and to tolerate people of other religions, saying only peaceful coexistence can lead to progress and development.
He said in the spirit of Sallah, the people of Oyo State should embrace the spirit of sacrifice and forthrightness.
Abidikugu said in the statement: “I felicitate all our Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Sallah.
“In particular I congratulate our governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, the Olubadan of Ibadanland His Imperial Majesty, Oba Owolabi Ige Olakulehin, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, His Eminence Sheikh Abdul – Ganiyy Abubakri Agbotomokekere, the Deputy National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP), Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja, wishing them peaceful Sallah Celebrations.May Allah accepts their prayers and sacrifices.
“I also felicitate other Muslim leaders and leaders of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party, (PDP) may this Eid bring them peace, prosperity, and divine guidance.
“As we celebrate , let us put our state and Governor Makinde in our prayers for God to continue to guide him aright and for our state to continue enjoy peace.
