A Non-Governmental Organization, Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation through its founder, Amb. (Dr) Gbenga Clement Obilade has felicitated with Muslims faithful all over the world on the occasion of this year’s Eid-al-Adha, Hijrah 1446.
Amb. (Dr) Obilade, who is also Bobagunwa of Akinjole Community, Egbeda LGA, urged Muslims in Egbeda/Ona-Ara LGAs, and beyond to imbibe values of faith, compassion and selflessness during the afternoon the festive season.
“Eid-al-Adha, the Festival of Sacrifice, reminds us of the values of faith, compassion, and selflessness. It honors the story of Prophet Ibrahim (AS), who demonstrated unwavering devotion and submission to Allah’s will.
“Today, we are called to reflect on those values—not only through our rituals but through our actions toward others.
As the founder of Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation, I am continually inspired by the spirit of giving and unity that this day embodies. It is in this same spirit that all of us at Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation strive to serve vulnerable communities, uplift the underprivileged, and provide hope where it is most needed. Your support makes this mission possible.
Amb. (Dr) Obilade urged Muslims not to forget those who face hardship, displacement, or hunger.
“Let our sacrifices be meaningful not only in devotion, but in bringing relief and dignity to others. If you are able, I encourage you to share your blessings—whether through donations, food distribution, or simply an act of kindness.
“May your homes be filled with joy, peace, and barakah. May this Eid bring you and your family closer to Allah, and may it inspire renewed purpose in serving humanity”.
