To welcome them new entrants and defectors into the All Progressives Congress, APC, the state chapter of the party is to receive former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, former Senate leader, Teslim Folarin, wife of late strongman of Oyo politics, Bose Adedibu, Remi Olaniyan and others.
Billed to hold in Mapo at a yet-to-be decided date, some national leaders of the party, especially in the South West are expected to grace the event.

Sources within the party revealed that the event will put a stop to insinuations that these politicians have not joined our party.
They disclosed that the party will not leave anything unturned in its bid to consolidate on the achievements of incumbent Governor Abiola Ajimobi and win the 2019 elections.
