The agitations of the students of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) over the closure of the institution have taken a new turn as the Alumni Union planned to meet students.
In a statement circulated by the Students’ mouthpiece, Mr. Oyedeji Ahmed said the LAUTECH Alumni union has been keen about the reopening of the institution.
The statement also quoted the Alumni for sponsoring students’ trips to Abuja and Osogbo with a sum of one hundred thousand naira only last week.
“Now, the Alumni union is set to hold a deliberation meeting with ‘Ladokites’ at the school’s 750 Lecture Theatre by 11am on June 15, 2017.
“Similarly, the Alumni union will be attending a joint sitting next week at the Oyo State House Of Assembly over the same crisis”, the statement added.
