As Muslims across the world celebrate Eidul Mawlid which connotes the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), Hon Bimbo Kolade, a Federal Commissioner at the Revenue Mobilization Allocation and Fiscal Commission, Abuja (RAMFAC) has felicitated with them urging them to imbibe the virtues of the prophet.
Kolade made this call in a press release made available to newsmen on Thursday.
The former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters in the state also called on Muslims to pray for God’s guidance for those piloting the affairs of this country to enable them come out with policies and programs that will have good effects on Nigerians and for the betterment of the nation.
He also urged Muslims to pray for God for divine intervention and to heal our country and imbibe the spirit of love, patience, and perseverance.
He said: “The story life of Prophet Muhammed is inspiring and motivating, he lived a life worthy of emulation. In commemoration of his birthday which is today, I want to urge all Muslims to imbibe the spirit of love, patience, and perseverance. History has shown that these are the virtues of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
“As you celebrate, I urge to to pray for this country, pray for God’s guidance for our leaders. Piloting the affairs of a country like Nigeria needs wisdom and God’s guidance. With prayer and unity, I know we will get to where we want to be.
“I wish all Muslims in Oyo State and across the world a happy Eidul-Mawlid Nabiy celebration.”
