Oyo state has recorded 87 new cases of coronavirus, with Lagelu, Ibadan North, Ibadan Southwest, and Oorelope topping the new cases
With this figure, the total number of confirmed cases in the state rose to 2,076.
Governor Seyi Makinde, who also lead the COVID-19 taskforce in the state, stated this in a series of tweets on Saturday morning
He said, “The COVID-19 confirmation tests for eighty-seven suspected cases came back POSITIVE.
“Please call the Emergency Operations Centre on 08095394000 | 08095863000 | 08078288999 | 08078288800 or visit a community-based testing centre, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms: cough, fever, tiredness, body ache, loss of smell/taste and shortness of breath.”
