The senator representing Oyo Central Senatorial District, Senator Monsura Sunmonu, the Deputy Speaker of Oyo State, Rt Hon Musa AbdWasi and 9 Federal representatives today escaped assassination attempt at the APC state secretariat in Oke Ado, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
Unknown thugs on Saturday morning reportedly attacked the state office of the ruling party where stakeholders meeting organized by the State Governor was scheduled to hold.

An eyewitness said the thugs who came with different harmful weapons including acid disrupted the scheduled meeting before the arrival of the state governor.
