Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has explained why he decided not to follow former Oyo governor, Rashidi Ladoja to Zenith Labour Party (ZLP).
Ighoho said that he decided to support Senator Olufemi Lanlehin rather than follow Chief Ladoja to another party because he is ready to work to return the Oyo to enviable height.
“We have waited for 12 years to make things right but the time is now to make sure we return the state to its enviable height”.
He stated this when addressed the crowd on Monday when the African Democratic Congress (ADC) kicked off campaign for candidates contesting various offices in the 2019 election on its platform.
Insideoyo.com recalls that the event took place in front of the palace of the Aseyin of Iseyin where candidates were introduced and presented with flags.
The governorship candidate of the party, Olufemi Lanlehin, his running mate Alhaji Yusuf Saheed, Senator Monsurat Sumonu, Senator Soji Akanbi, Honourable Dapo Lam-Adesina and others were present.
