All arrangements have been concluded for the official commissioning of a block of 6 classrooms facilitated by Hon. Akinmoyede Olafisoye Wasiu member house of Representatives representing Akinyele/Lagelu Federal Constituency, Oyo on Thursday 19th September, 2024 at Community Grammar School, Lalupon, Ibadan by 10a.m.
The commissioning ceremony which will be performed by the Chairman Lagelu Local Government area, Hon. Mudashiru Kamorudeen is in line with Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede’s bid to enhance learning activities in the education sector, as well as fulfilling his electoral campaign promises to the constituents.
The completed classrooms whose foundation was laid on 12th August, 2024 by the lawmaker is to create a conducive environment where students can learn in an atmosphere suitable to enhance their education pursuit.
Similarly, Hon. Olafisoye Akinmoyede has also facilitated empowerment training for fish farmers in selected communities within the Akinyele/Lagelu federal constituency on Friday 20th September, 2024 at Faith Joe Event Centre, beside Community Secondary School, Alegongo Ibadan by 2p.m.
The training programme which is being organised by the lawmaker through the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) in conjunction with the Ayotech Global Ventures Services limited is meant to empower the constituents economically and make them self reliant.
The event will also feature financial empowerment for the trainees to set up the business, distributions of farm input and equipment, fertilisers, maize and beans seedlings for farmers selected from Akinyele and Lagelu federal constituency.
Dignitaries from the education sector, traditional rulers, religious leaders, party and political functioneries are expected to grace the two occasions.
