The elected Iyaloja general of Oyo State Alhaja Saratu Konibaje has debunked the rumor going round in the state that Folasade Abeo has been issued certificate as Iyaloja general of Oyo State.
Alhaja Saratu Konibaje stated that she still remains the authentic Iyaloja general of Oyo state and awaiting certificate of return by the government of Oyo State.
This was contained in a statement issued in Ibadan on Friday on the purported rumor.
Alhaja Konibaje clarified that she was voted for with 8 votes against 4 by the recognised cluster groups of the market traders in which the state ministry of Commerce, trade and industry, Ministry of Women Affairs, and Ministry of Justice monitored and supervised.
She urged all the cluster groups to go on with their trade and business activities without causing any security bridges.
Alhaja Saratu Konibaje added that the state government led by Governor Seyi Makinde is known for due process and constitutional right hence her mandate can never be stolen by a person that is not widely accepted by the traders.
