The present administration in Oyo State would continue to work towards ensuring a productive workforce, the state head of service, Alhaja Ololade Agboola, said.
Alhaja Agboola stated this today in Ibadan while declaring open a two day training workshop for the senior staff of Oyo State Housing Corporation.
The head of service who was represented by the Permanent Secretary,Service Matters, Alh. Fatai Oladehinde, noted that a motivated workforce was an asset to every organization stated that government would not relent in its effort at motivating its workers for maximum productivity.
She pointed out that public/civil servants in the state must reciprocate the gesture of the government by being more dedicated to their job.
The Oyo state head of service warned against misconduct on the part of any civil/public servant as this according to her would not be tolerated.
In his opening speech,the chairman of Oyo State housing corporation, Bar. Bayo Lawal said the training became imperative because of the urgent need to restrategize in the competitive world.
Bar. Lawal was of the opinion that the corporation could no longer do things as they were done years because of the ever changing situation
While urging the participants to take the workshop seriously,he revealed that the facility would be extended to all manners of staff for maximum productivity.
The theme of the workshop is”Leadership Improvement,Housing Delivery and Financing Initiatives.
