Hell was let loose at the Federal College of Education (Special), FCE, Oyo yesterday when protesting students of the institution went on the rampage, destroying valuable properties in sight.
Trouble, it was learnt, started when students of the institution converged on the campus to protest the ‘death’ of their colleagues owing to ‘poor medical facility’ on campus.
Insideoyo.com gathered that two of their colleagues had died within a space of one week. One of the students was said to have died today.
It could not be confirmed whether they died in the institution’s health facility as at the time of filing this report.
Sources say properties worth several millions of naira were vandalised in the process.
The institution’s health centre, students’ affairs office, vehicles and bakery were said to be vandalised.
It’s yet to be known whether or not there is a casualty.
