EX-Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Chief Adebayo Adelabu has said he joined the Oyo State governorship race to sustain the legacies of his family and those of Governor Abiola Ajimobi.
The aspirant said anyone saying his performance was not commendable should be examined.
Adelabu, who is an aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), spoke at the weekend on Southwest Political Circuit, a popular radio programme on Ibadan-based Fresh FM.
Responding to a question on claims by an opposition leader that continuity would perpetrate negative governance, Adelabu said Ajimobi had succeeded in recreating Oyo State.
‘’Ajimobi’s style of governance, reflected in his urban renewal, quality infrastructure, education and health reforms, termination of brigandage, among others, make him the architect of new Oyo State.
