2. Head of Section, Software Systems
Contract: 3-year renewable contract Location: Ibadan
QUALIFICATION AND COMPETENCIES: • MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field. • Skills in software development lifecycle/methodologies. Ideally a project management certificate (PMP, IPMA, Prince2, etc)
3. Associate Scientist, Molecular Breeder (Ref No: DDG-R4D/AS/MB/07/18)
Educational Qualifications The candidate should have a PhD in genetics, molecular biology, plant breeding, or related fields. Core Competencies: • At least 2 years of post-PhD experience in a crop breeding program. • Knowledge and experience in plant genetics, genomics, breeding, and bioinformatics. • Ability to integrate high quality phenotyping with genotyping. • Experience with project activity implementation and monitoring. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent spoken and written English.
