Obilade who is the Bobagunwa of Akinjole community in Egbeda Local Government Area of Ibadan urged Muslim faithful to utilize days of spiritual renewal and reflect on values of compassion, charity, and community development.
“we extend our heartfelt greetings to the Muslim Ummah as we welcome the blessed month of Ramadan. This sacred time of fasting, reflection, and spiritual renewal brings us closer to Allah and reminds us of the values of compassion, charity, and community that are integral to Islam.
“Ramadan is not only a time to purify the soul but also an opportunity to strengthen our bonds with those in need. It is a time when the spirit of giving flourishes, and we are reminded of the importance of empathy, kindness, and support for our brothers and sisters facing hardships around the world.
“As we embark on this blessed month, let us reflect on the significance of this time and the lessons it teaches us. May our fasts bring us closer to Allah and to the values of peace, justice, and unity. May we continue to care for those less fortunate, lifting them up through our prayers, charity, and collective efforts.
At Gbenga Obilade’s Foundation; “we are committed to supporting the most vulnerable during this holy month. We invite you to join us in spreading the light of Ramadan through acts of kindness, donations, and community-driven initiatives. Together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
