Governor Abiola Ajimobi is believed to have favoured four gubernatorial aspirants from the over 30 aspirants jostling for the ticket of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo state ahead of 2019 elections.
Sources told insideoyo.com that the four highly calibre and popular candidates have good working relationship with the governor.

Before now it had been widely rumoured that Governor’s body language seems to be favourable to Engr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe who amongst the likes of a Former Deputy of Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Chief Bayo Adelabu, Mr. Sola Ayandele, Barr. Niyi Akintola SAN, Alh. Olalekan Alli, the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Dr. Azeez Adeduntan, the Commissioner for Health mobilized supporters to the gathering.
Sources also revealed that ‘the governor is also considering a popular candidate that can break the Oke-ogun axis and penetrate the through the Unity Forum strongholds.
But ahead of the two days high-powered meeting, 3 sources out of 5 listed Engr. Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, Bayo Adelabu, Ajiboye Omodewu, the commissioner for land and Olalekan Alli.
The governor at the All Progressives Congress, APC Oyo Central senatorial district stakeholders meeting expressed that the leadership of the party would not allow every gubernatorial aspirant to cough out the humongous sum of N22.8m for the form when only one amongst over 30 will emerge as candidate.
Although, he had maintained that the process in which the eventual winner would emerge will be through democratic process and give an enabling avenue for every one to operate.
