The Oyo State Independent Electoral Commission, OYSIEC, has extended deadline for the submission of names of candidates for the May 12th, 2018 council election in the state.
It was learnt that the commission has extended the deadline by two weeks.

The commission had slated Friday 23rd February as deadline for submission of candidates by political parties before the new development.
A source, who confided in insideoyo.com, however, said the date for election remains unchanged.
