The Gubernatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo state, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu has on Saturday delivered his polling unit for the ruling APC in today’s Presidential and National Assembly elections.
Adelabu’s polling unit, located at Adelabu compound, Oke Oluokun in Ibadan South East local government area of Oyo state was delivered for the APC presidential candidate, Muhammadu Buhari and candidates of the partly in the Senate and House of Representatives, Governor Abiola Ajimobi of the state and Mr. Deji Aboderin respectively.
The results of the elections in Unit 10, Ward 9 in Ibadan South East where Adelabu voted, indicated that APC had 60 while PDP had 36 votes in the presidential election.
Other parties; ADC got 10, ADP got 4 while no vote was recorded for ZLP.
In the Senate, APC candidate, Ajimobi got 60 to defeat PDP candidate, Dr. Kola Balogun who got 23 votes.
Others are ADC candidate Mr. Soji Akanbi who got 20 votes, ADP with 4 votes and ZLP that got 8 votes in the Senatorial election.
In the House of Representatives election, the APC candidate, Mr. Deji Aboderin got 58 to defeat his close rival Mr. Dapo Lam Adesina who is the candidate of ADC with 22 votes. Adesina is a son of a former Governor, Alhaji Lam Adesina.
Others are PDP that got 21 votes, ADP that got 7 votes and ZLP that secured 8 votes.
