3 graduates of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan who sat for the final Bar Examination have finished with first class at the Nigerian Law School, Insideoyo.com reports.
They are Olalere Yusuf, Adebayo Deborah and Madu Kelechie.
The Vice Chancellor of the institution, Professor Idowu Olayinka made this known in a post on his Facebook account on Saturday.
Olayinka said three out of the five first class candidates at the law school came from the institution adding that other UI graduates also have outstanding performance.
He congratulated the students for their superlative performance. He also congratulated the Dean Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, former Dean Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose SAN, Prof Simisola Akintola and through the trio to all members of the Faculty of Law.
His words: “The Nigerian Law School has just released the results of its Final Bar Examinations. Three out of the total of five First Class candidates came from the University of Ibadan. We equally recorded outstanding performance generally from the other UI graduates who sat for the Bar Examinations.
“The three first class students from the University of Ibadan sre: Olalere Yusuf, Adebayo Deborah and Madu Kelechie.
“We wish to congratulate all the UI students for their superlative performance once again. You have proved to be worthy ambassadors of this premier University.
“We congratulate Dean Professor Adeniyi Olatunbosun, former Dean Professor Oluyemisi Bamgbose SAN, Prof Simisola Akintola, and through the trio to all members of the Faculty of Law.
“You have given us one more reason to celebrate during this lockdown and New Normal.
