A grand reception was held in France to honor the new Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I.
The event, which was attended by prominent figures, including Ilufemiloye Onifaranse I, HRM Aderonmu Sadiq Owoade, Olori Omo Oba Suheeb Muhammed Balogun, and Balogun Ilufemiloye I of France, Chief Ajibola-Are Suraj, was a celebration of the new monarch’s ascension to the throne.

The Olori Omo Oba Chief, Mohammed Olanrewaju Balogun, called on Yoruba sons and daughters in diaspora to join the revolution for development by contacting +33753712316.
He added that the new Alaafin has pledged to work with Oyo indigenes at home and in diaspora to provide modern developmental planks for the transformation of the kingdom.
The forum promised to be a face of new hope for the Yoruba race in diaspora and come up with human and physical development of the Yoruba through a collaboration with Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade I.
The reception was also an opportunity for the Yoruba diaspora community to come together and celebrate their heritage.
