The city of Ibadan, Oyo State capital on Wednesday witnessed an unprecedented convergence of renowned men of God in the country, as the 18th annual convention/thanksgiving and ordination service of the Sanctuary of Christ Evangelical Church, Ibadan kicks off.
This year’s five-day annual convention, with the theme: “Divine Enlargement,” which starts at 5:00pm, will commence from Wednesday, May, 24 to Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the church auditorium located at Olabiyi Agoro Street, Semi-N-Bio- Bus Stop, opposite C.A.C. Grammar School, Adesola, Ibadan.
According to a statement from the General-Overseer of the church, Pastor (Dr.) ‘Gbade Ojo, this year’s convention will feature seminar, tagged: “Imperatives of Divine Enlargement” (to be delivered by Pastor Jide Babajide), health talk (to be delivered by Dr. Bukky Olumide), and medical check-up (to be administered by Dr. Adeleke Folami) on Saturday May 27, while it will be followed by thanksgiving and ordination service which start at 10:00am on Sunday, May, 28.
The statement further added that the convention will have an array of notable anointed men of God who will minister, among whom are Prophet P.F. Owa, Rev. Solomon Adebara, Prophet B.D. Akande and a host of others.
The programme will also witness songs ministration from Lady Evangelist Bola Are, Lady Evangelist Bose Eboda, Lady Evangelist Yemi David, Eagle Vision Psalmists and other gospel singers.
Dignitaries expected to grace the convention include the state’s Deputy Governor, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, wife of the Oyo State Governor, Chief (Mrs.) Florence Ajimobi, Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Saliu Akanmu Adetunji, Eleruwa of Eruwa, Oba Samuel Adegbola.
Other notable traditional rulers include Onipetu of ijeru; Aresa Pupa of Iresa-Apa and others.
However, the presiding pastor, Pastor (Dr.) ‘Gbade Ojo will also minister at the convention.
