In continuation of its ward campaign, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Saki West on Tuesday, took its campaign to ward 8.
The Saki West ADC had last week started its ward campaign which will cut across the 11 wards that make up Saki West local government area of Oyo state.
The Director General of the party’s campaign committee in Saki West, Mr Kehinde Adetola while speaking at the Saki Parapo town hall urged people to come out en masse to vote for all ADC candidates in the February and March elections.
Kehinde also added that the party will defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state since APC has failed to salvage the people of Oyo state.
Also speaking, a former caretaker chairman of Saki West local government, Engineer Yunus Gbadamosi popularly known as Himus expressed disappointment over APC government which he campaigned for in 2015.
Himus as fondly called also explained reasons why the people of Saki should support its Federal House of representatives candidates, Rt Hon Musa Abdulwasi and other candidates of the party.
Present at the campaign were, Rt Hon Musa Abdulwasi, the party’s candidate for Saki West, Saki East and Atisbo Federal Constituency, Mr Gbenga Akinola, House of Assembly candidate for Saki West state constituency, Hon Rafiu Adekunle, former Oyo State House of Assembly member, Alhaji Raheem Oyedemi Muslim, former commissioner for works, and array of others.
