The immediate past Chairman of the Oyo State Correspondents Chapel of the Oyo State NUJ, Comrade Raji Adebayo has taken a bold step towards his ambition to succeed the incumbent Chairman of the Oyo State Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ), Comrade Ademola Babalola as he has obtained the nomination form for the position.
Raji Adebayo who started his Journalism career at the defunct National Concord Newspaper in Lagos, has also worked in several newspapers like Herald Newspapers, Encounter Newspapers, National Daily, National Mirror, The Moment, Daily Newswatch and he is currently the Oyo state Correspondent of Daily Independent Newspapers.
A former Assistant Secretary of the Sports Writer Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), Raji was also a one time Acting Secretary, Property and Environment Writers Association of Nigeria (PEWAN) in Lagos.
A charismatic journalist, Raji Adebayo has covered several beats and he enjoys good relationship with several professionals and has pledged to bring his wealth of experience to bear in the management of the Oyo State NUJ.
Raji Adebayo is the current champion of Oyo State NUJ and SWAN Table Tennis Competition.
