The Oyo State Commissioner for Commerce, Trade, and Industry, Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi, has revealed that the only recognized leader of market leaders in the state is Alhaji YK Abass.
Hon. Adebisi stated this in Okeho during a familiarization visit by the Babaloja-in-Council to Oke Ogun Zone 1.
He added that all traders and market leaders should rally around the Babaloja General of Oyo State for improved welfare.
Addressing the gathering of artisans, traders, market leaders, and dignitaries, the Babaloja General of Oyo State, Asiwaju Yekeen Abass, called for unity of purpose among traders’ associations and leaders.
The Babaloja General added that when peace reigns among traders, that is when the government can remember the association.
Some leaders thanked the Babaloja General for the visit and pledged their loyalty and support to the association.
The Babaloja General of Oyo State and his entourage had earlier paid a courtesy visit to the Onjo of Okeho, Oba Rafiu Osuolale Mustapha.
The Onjo of Okeho lauded the integrity and developmental stride of the Babaloja General of Oyo State and advocated for sons and daughters of Oke Ogun.
