Professor Samuel Ogunwale Ogundiran, a renowned academic and Professor of Educational Administration and Planning at the National Open University of Nigeria, has congratulated Alhaji Moshood Olajide Abass, the Oyo State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on his appointment as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital, Kaduna.
In a heartfelt message on Sunday, Professor Ogundiran praised Alhaji Abass as an “astute leader, seasoned Pharmacist, a great Politician, a rare Mentor and a great Achiever.”
He expressed his confidence that Alhaji Abass will excel in his new role, stating, “You will soon become our great, noble and dynamic Party’s National Chairman in good health and sound mind by the grace of the Almighty God. Ameen.”
Professor Ogundiran also commended Alhaji Abass for his exceptional leadership qualities, which have endeared him to the people of Oyo State.
“Your appointment as Chairman of the Board is a testament to your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the development of our great party and the state at large,” he said.
The Professor Ogundiran, a core APC member from Tapa in Ibarapa North has achieved a lot in several leadership positions including serving as a Mega Campus Director at the Akure Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria and delivering the 28th Inaugural Lecture of the university among others.
He also facilitated the NYSC mobilization of Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic students, which paved the way for the first convocation in the history of the institution in 2023.
Professor Ogundiran’s congratulatory message comes as Alhaji Abass assumes his new role as Chairman of the Board.
The professor expressed his optimism that Alhaji Abass will continue to provide leadership and direction to the party, ensuring its continued success and dominance in the state.
Professor Ogundiran congratulated Alhaji Abass, his noble family, and the entire APC family in Oyo State, praying that God will continue to guide and protect them as they work towards the development of the state.
