Mr Williams Adeleye, former Special Assistant on Media to former President Muhammadu Buhari, has congratulated Bashorun Akinwale Akinwole, popularly known as Wolekanle, on his appointment as Chief of Staff to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.
In a statement issued in Abuja by Mr John Babalola, Adeleye, who is also the Chief Executive Officer of Josh Integrated Property Limited, described Akinwole’s appointment as deserving, noting that the former Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission had paid his dues through years of service.
He expressed confidence in Akinwole’s ability to justify the confidence reposed in him by the governor and contribute meaningfully to the administration’s development agenda.
Makinde announced Akinwole’s appointment in a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Professor Musibau Babatunde.
Akinwole, a grassroots politician, previously served as Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Service Commission before his appointment as Chief of Staff.
In announcing the appointment, Makinde congratulated Akinwole and urged him to discharge his responsibilities with loyalty, commitment and dedication to the service of Oyo State.
The announcement was contained in a statement dated October 12, 2026, and signed by Dr Sulaimon Olanrewaju, Special Adviser on Media to the Governor.
