Oyo Lawmakers Suspend Plenary, Visit Family Of Late Waliu Ganiyu

The deputy speaker said the Assembly, which has three major political parties, is not a political party and would not have endorsed an aspirant from any political party.

Members of the Oyo State House of Assembly early this morning suspended its plenary today to honour a former member, Hon. Ganiyu Waliu, who died last yesterday.

‎Led by the speaker, Barr. Adesina Michael Adeyemo, the delegation which included all members of the 7th Assembly (2011-2015) were at the Oyagbe, Oke-Olola, Oyo residence of the late ex-lawmaker. They were received by widow of the deceased, Mrs Raimat Ganiyu.
