Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, (SWAN), Oyo State Chapter has joined million of citizens and residents of the pacesetter state in rejoicing with the Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Asiwaju Seun Fakorede over his recovery from the deadly and dreaded Covid 19.
The sports commissioner, who had been on self isolation for the past four weeks after testing positive for the deadly Corona virus, eventually tested negative.
And this latest result, which has sparked jubilations among stakeholders in sports circle, friends and associates of the Commissioner, is evident in the contents of the latest COVID-19 Test Report Form released on Wednesday 29th July 2020.
In a congratulatory message signed by the Association’s chairman Niyi Alebiosu and Secretary, Adewale Tijani, Oyo SWAN was full of thanks to God for the total recovery of the 29 year old Commissioner.
“We felicitate with you on your recovery but want you to see it as grace and mercy from the Almighty”, Oyo SWAN noted.
The best way to reciprocate this kind gesture from God is to use your new found energy to serve humanity by transforming the lives of youths in the state through the position you are presently occupying”, the Association counselled the happy Commissioner.
Asiwaju Seun Fakorede, one of the youngest and performing Commissioners in the country, tested positive for Corona virus on the 24th of June 2020 and had since been receiving treatments for the pandemic until he was certified free of the virus on Wednesday.
