The Present Administration in Oyo State under the able leadership of His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde is determined to ensure that the entire workforce in the State Civil Service enjoys adequate welfare packages, conducive working environment and standard working tools that will enhance productivity for the rapid development of the State.
Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin made this assertion recently while making his remarks during the Legislature’s interactive Session organised to show case the readiness of the ninth Oyo Assembly and the House Commission to work and reform the State legislature for the betterment of the State.
Hon. Ogundoyin maintained that the State Parliamentary workers will be fully equipped with modern working tools that can bring out the individual potentials, adding that worker’s promotion, allowances and other fundamental benefits would be achieved as and when due by the time the Assembly is completely autonomous.
He declared that the Legislative Arm in the State has been working in unison with others and enjoying absolute support of the State Governor in order to achieve giant stride of becoming the best in legislative processes throughout the Nation.
In his opening address, the Chairman, Oyo State House of Assembly Service Commission , Barr. Abdulwasi Musah urged the legislative workers in the State to be diligent in the discharge of their duties and reciprocate good gesture of prompt payment of salary and other allowances by the Present Administration in the State.
He stressed need for the Assembly workers to be patriotic to the State Government by exhibiting high level of productivity in their various calls and prepare to operate diligently under an autonomous system..
Barr. Musah revealed that the main focus of the interactive Session is to emphasise on the need to inculcate positive attitude towards working activities and achieve landmark productivity in conjunction with His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde’s slogan ‘ ISE YA’.
While delivering their goodwill messages, the Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Asimiyu Alarape, the Chairman Parliamentary Caucus, Hon. Ayotunde Fatokun and other lawmakers present at the programme reiterated that the ninth Assembly in Oyo State will put all hands on deck to foster unity among the State workers and other Stakeholders in order to bring rapid development that will attract foreign investors to the State.
Highlight of the matters addressed at the interactive Session include indiscipline among workers, laziness, informal dressing and others.
