In a bid to boost academic excellence and increase higher institution enrollment, Honourable Kareem Abisodun Were, lawmaker representing ATISBO, Saki East, Saki West Federal Constituency, has distributed 5,000 specially compiled past questions for JAMB and WAEC.
The past questions cover 10 years of exam questions and are targeted at students in all public secondary schools across Saki West, Saki East, and ATISBO local government areas of Oyo state.
The distribution exercise took place at Ansaru – Deen High School, Saki, on Tuesday with the attendance of school representatives, political leaders, community stakeholders and others.
Honourable Kareem Were who was represented by his aide, Hon. Sulaiman Georges, said education remains the bedrock of any thriving society adding that he’s committed to initiatives that uplift students and give way for academic excellence.
“Education remains the bedrock of any thriving society, and as your representative, I am committed to initiatives that uplift our students and pave the way for academic excellence.
“This initiative is targeted at supporting learning and increasing higher institution enrollment in our constituency.” said Honourable Kareem Abisodun Were.
The lawmaker emphasized that the distribution of past questions is a vital resource for students, enabling them to prepare ahead of their forthcoming examinations with confidence.
“With these resources, our students can sharpen their problem-solving skills and boost their chances of securing admission into higher institutions,” he explained.
Honourable Kareem Abisodun Were urged every beneficiary to make the most of this opportunity, study hard, and strive for excellence.

The lawmaker reiterated his commitment to pushing for educational development and creating more opportunities for the youth.

Also speaking, Honourable Tiamiyu Alarape, a former Chairman of Saki West local government, commended the initiative, describing it as a progressive step towards educational empowerment.
He urged students to take their studies seriously, stating that education remains the strongest weapon for success.
Similarly, Alhaji Rasheed Alarape, one of the teachers at ADS High School, delivered a goodwill message, stressing the need for continuous academic support for students in public schools.
