As efforts to curtail the spread of COVID-19 continues, Member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Kajola state constituency, Hon Akeem Olawale Mustapha has distributed food items to the people of his constituency.
This is to cushion the effect of the stay-at-home order and hard economic situation brought by the coronavirus pandemic.
The relief materials which include semo and other consumables were given to various classes of people across the 11 wards in the local government.
Some of the beneficiaries of the items include royal fathers, religious leaders, workers’ unions, as well as leaders and members of various political parties in the constituency.
Hon. Akeem Mustapha, who is the Chairman, House Committee on Energy, disclosed that the move is to support the administration of Engr. Seyi Makinde to jointly curb the spread of the disease in Oyo State.
The lawmaker urged the residents of the constituency to maintain personal hygiene, observe social distancing and follow all preventive guidelines against corona virus pandemic.
