The Oyo State Scholarship Board has announced the opening of its application portal for the Oyo State Indigene Students Bursary Award.
This initiative, launched by Governor Seyi Makinde, aims to provide financial support to final year students of Oyo State origin in public tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
According to the Chairman of the Oyo State Scholarship Board, Rt. Hon. Maroof Atilola, the bursary award is designed to alleviate the financial burden on students and their families amidst the current economic challenges in the country.
Eligible students, including those in public universities, polytechnics, clinical schools, aviation, and maritime institutions, can apply for the bursary through the dedicated website: https://bursary.oyostate.gov.ng/2024/. The application period runs from August 1 to August 31, 2024.
The Oyo State Scholarship Board encourages interested and eligible students to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications within the specified timeframe.
