Oyo State House of Assembly Aspirant, Hajia Oluwatoyin Fatimoh Oyegbori-Oluwa Nee (ATOBATELE) has sponsored students for the West African Examination Council (WAEC) Examination in Lagelu local government area.
The students that benefited from the first phase of the sponsorship are from Community Grammar School Lalupon, Community Grammar School Ejioku, Community High School Alegongo, Monatan High School (Senior) and Community High SchoolOffa/Adedokun.
Others are Igbo Elerin Grammar School, Community Grammar School Lagun, Community Grammar school APATERE.9 and Anglican Grammar school Oyedeji.
While speaking, Atobatele said “Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belong to those who prepare for it today.
“Upon the subject of education, I can only say that I view it as the most important subject which we as a people may be engaged in.”
She said she got motivated through the effort of Governor Seyi Makinde who has lifted the standard of education in Oyo state.
She encouraged other students to do their best as more sponsorship/scholarships is coming their way.
While presenting the examination fee she also donated bundles of roofing sheets for the reconstruction of the dilapidated buildings at Community Grammer School Ejioku.
Also speaking, ANCOPSS chairman, Mr Olatunji said the beneficiaries were picked on merit.
He commended her effort towards quality education adding that the bold step taking will encourage others to do more.
The parents and guardian of beneficiaries appreciated Hajia ATOBATELE for her support to ensure quality and standard education in Lagelu LGA and Oyo State.
