The deputy state chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Alhaji Isiaka Alimi has congratulated the state chairman, Chief Akin Oke, on the occasion of his 79th birthday celebrations today February 14, 2018.
In a congratulatory message which was contained in a statement issued and personally signed by him, Alh. Alimi described Chief Oke as a wonderful, caring and passionate father to a good population of people in the society who deserves to be celebrated while alive.
“Baba Oke, as fondly called by his admirers, has been a blessing to our generation since he was born 79 years ago. He is an epitome of hard work, service to humanity and patriotism. Having excelled in the organized private sector where he served for many years, Chief Oke joined active politics and chose to be a progressive of Awoism philosophy.
“In the current democratic dispensation, Chief Oke has carved a niche for himself by successfully leading his political party- APC to victory at the 2015 poll which earned Senator Abiola Ajimobi a well-deserved second term in office as the governor of the Pacesetter State.
“An administrator par excellence, Chief Akin presides over the APC in the state to the admiration of all stakeholders and this explains why he is loved and respected by all the stakeholders. Therefore, on behalf of other members of the State Executive Committee as well as members and supporters of the APC in the state, we wish our amiable state chairman a happy birthday and many happy returns of the day.” Alh.
