The African Democratic Congress (ADC), Oyo State, has sympathized Governor Seyi Makinde over death of mother, Mama Abigail Makinde.
The party made this known in a statement issued on Thursday.
The statement reads,
“The State Executive committee of Oyo State ADC on behalf of the leadership and membership of ADC family Oyo State convey our deepest condolences to the Executive governor of Oyo State, H.E. Engr. Seyi Makinde, Entire family of Makindes, the Government of Oyo State on the peaceful passage of His Excellency’s mother, Mama Abigail Makinde in the early hours of Thursday 15th October, 2020 at the age of 81.
“Mama Abigail Makinde lived a productive and fruitful life. She left behind many blessings. Even though she has moved on to a better place, she will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with His Excellency and the entire family.
“May God Almighty grants His Excellency and the entire family fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and equally grants Mama an external rest.”
