The Vice Chairman of Oorelope Local Government, Hon. Wasiu Adewale Babatunde, popularly known as Adua, has felicitated with a former Oyo State Commissioner for Budget and Planning, Barrister Adeniyi Farinto, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a leader whose legacy of service continues to inspire many across the state.
In a congratulatory message issued on Saturday, Babatunde praised Farinto for his immense contributions to governance, policy development, and grassroots leadership in Oyo State.
According to him, the former commissioner distinguished himself in public office through strategic thinking, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to the development of the state.
He said, “Barrister Adeniyi Farinto is a shining example of visionary leadership and purposeful public service. His tenure as Commissioner for Budget and Planning reflected competence, foresight, and an uncommon passion for the progress of Oyo State.”
The Oorelope vice chairman further noted that Farinto’s wealth of experience in governance and politics has continued to serve as a source of motivation for younger political office holders and aspiring leaders.
“As someone who has contributed immensely to policy direction and development planning in our dear state, he remains a role model to many of us in public office today. His leadership style and dedication to service remain truly inspiring,” Babatunde added.
He also commended Farinto’s continued relevance in the political space, noting that his counsel and experience remain valuable in shaping conversations around governance and development.
