The Chairman of Oorelope local government area in Igboho, Mr Akeem AbdulRaheem has been awarded as the best chairman in the Oke Ogun area of Oyo state.
The award was given to him by Mega Waves Communications in Conjunction with Ajaabale Entertainment on Saturday in Ogbomoso.
Having recognised his love and People-centered programs for Oke Ogun and the good people of Oorelope local government, he was picked among others local government chairmen in the zone.
While speaking, the chairman, AbdulRaheem said he dedicated the award to Governor Seyi Makinde for his passion and move towards the development of Oke Ogun.
AbdulRaheem said unlike the past governments that neglected the zone, it’s visible even to the blind the Governor has more development plans for Oke Ogun zone.
“I dedicated the award to His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde for his move and passion towards the development of Oke Ogun zone.
“Unlike past governments that have neglected Oke Ogun, the Seyi Makinde-led government has a lot of developmental plans for Oke Ogun and the whole of Oyo state in general.” He said.
