The electorate in Oyo State will move forward by choosing progress and greater development being offered by the Governorship Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Hon Bimbo Adekanmbi and all other Candidates of the party rather than returning to ‘Egypt’ with a party that has brought untold hardship on Nigerians.
Special Assistant on Print Media to Governor ‘Seyi Makinde and leading Chairmanship Aspirant for Oorelope Local Government, Moses Adebayo Alao, stated this in a statement on Wednesday.
Alao, who welcomed Adekanmbi and the leadership of the APM and the leaders of the PDP-APM Grand Alliance, to Igboho, venue of the thank you tour to Irepo/Olorunsogo/Oorelope Federal Constituency, said the APM is set for victory because residents of the state will not buy the lies being packaged by other parties in the state.
He maintained that the APM is in a good stead as a result of the people-centred leadership provided by Governor Makinde in the last seven years, which resulted in the repositioning of the state, stating that the people of the Federal Constituency will elect all candidates of the APM.
According to Alao, the people of Old Irepo Federal Constituency have resolved to move forward with the APM, stating that from the Presidential Candidate of the APM, Governor Makinde to the Governorship Candidate of the APM, Adekanmbi and his running mate, Engr Muftau Open Salawu to the National and State Assembly Candidates, the people will vote massively for the party.
He said: “I, Moses Adebayo Alao, heartily welcome the Governorship Candidate of our great party, Hon Bimbo Adekanmbi and his running mate, Engr Muftau Open Salawu as well as all the standard-bearers of our party in the 2027 election to Igboho, the Seat of the Old Oyo Empire and venue of the thank you tour to Irepo/Olorunsogo/Oorelope Federal Constituency.
“I equally welcome all our leaders, beginning with the leaders of the PDP-APM Grand Alliance, including the Hon Dayo Ogungbenro-led PDP State Working Committee to the Oyo State APM Chairman and son of the soil, Hon Adegbenro Fagbemi and other members of the Exco.
“While this has been marked as a thank you visit, I can say categorically that it is a prophetic visit, as it is a symbolic appreciation to our people, who have already resolved to support the APM in the 2027 general elections.
“Residents of Old Irepo Federal Constituency, and, indeed, residents of Oyo State, have resolved to support the APM Candidates in the coming elections, because they have seen through the false hopes being presented as Renewed Hope and through the lies of other political parties.
