Governor Seyi Makinde on Wednesday said the state’s public schools have received over 3000 transfer application from Private Schools due to his government policies on education.
He stated this while commissioning the Multipurpose Hall at Baptist Secondary School, Ilora, facilitated by an old student of the School, Mr Remi Oyekola.

The Governor said the present administration is committed to free qualitative education to public Schools across the State.

“If standards of education will improve tremendously, it is a collective responsibility of all and sundry,” Governor Makinde said.
He also announced that his government has approved recruitment of new teachers for public schools.
