Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state has on Wednesday sent the list of commissioner nominees to the Oyo State House of Assembly.
The list contains five returning and 5 new commissioner designates, InsideOyo.com reports.
According to the list obtained by InsideOyo.com, the five returning are: Mr Seun Fakorede, Mr Olasunkanmi Olaleye, Mr Wasiu Olatunbosun, Mr AbdulRahaman AbdulRaheem, and Mr Adeniyi Adebisi.
While the new nominees are: Dr Bode Ladipo, Mr Abiodun Oni, Prof Musibau Babatunde, Mr Segun Olayiwola and Alhaja Kafilat Omolabake Olayiwola.
They are expected to be screened and confirmed by the Oyo State House of Assembly.
In August, Makinde had re-appointed seven commissioners who were screened and approved by the state assembly.
They are Akinola Ojo, Commissioner for Finance; Oyelowo Oyewo, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice; and Bayo Lawal, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters.
Others were Dahud Shangodoyin, Public Works and Transport; Temilolu Ashamu, Energy and Mineral Resources; Faosat Sanni, Women Affairs and Social Inclusion; and Ayansiju Lawal, Establishments and Training.
