The Association of Retired Heads of Service and Permanent Secretaries, South West Nigeria (ARHOSPS-SWN) is set to unveil the Proposed Action Plan for Economic Development of the South West Region.
The unveiling ceremony will take place on Thursday, May 22, 2025, by 10 am at The New Hall of the Local Government Staff Training School, State Secretariat, Ibadan.
The proposed plan will be presented in collaboration with the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission.
This landmark document prioritizes addressing the needs of the Southwest region, paving the way for sustainable reintegration and recovery in line with global standards and United Nations best practices.
The initiative underscores the commitment of former leaders of the region’s civil service in supporting the states in the region.

The document will serve as a guide for states in the region to address all-around developmental issues and cohesion among the States.
Members of the Association, the DAWN Commission, and distinguished invitees from all states in the region will gather in Ibadan to witness the official presentation of the “Proposed Plan of Action…” to the Governors.
