Oyo state governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has said that the state has recorded two new confirmed cases of Covid-19, insideoyo.com reports.
This brings the number of active cases in the state to 22.
Makinde who doubles as the state chairman of the Oyo state Covid-19 task force made this known in a tweet on Sunday morning.
He said “We have received more results from pending COVID-19 confirmation tests. The results of two suspected cases came back POSITIVE, today. Both cases are from Ibadan. This brings the number of active cases in Oyo State to 22.”
He also gave updates on the awaiting test result of Covid-19 in the state.
“171 out of the 300 pending results have now been processed and more are being expected.
