Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has made popular musician Yinka Ayefele its ambassador ahead of the 2019 general elections.

Yinka Ayefele is the chairman and CEO of Ibadan based Fresh FM.
BBC Yoruba reports that the commission did this through its deputy director on Voter’s Card, Mrs Lakunuya Dorothy Bello at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to INEC, Ayefele is a nationwide good leader in journalism, industry and community development service.
With this development, INEC urges Ayefele to use his ambassadorial position to widen the scope of news reportage as 2019 general elections knock.
