A former member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Segun Olaleye, popularly known as Radical Brother, has congratulated former Senate Leader and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Teslim Folarin, on the occasion of his 63rd birthday.
In a congratulatory message on Thursday, Olaleye described Senator Folarin as a distinguished statesman, a courageous leader and a strong pillar of progressive politics in Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
He said Folarin, who clocks 63 today, has demonstrated exceptional commitment to public service, party development and the advancement of democracy through his impactful political career.
According to him, Senator Folarin’s journey from the Senate where he served meritoriously as Senate Leader to his continued role as a rallying point for the APC in Oyo State, remains a source of inspiration to younger politicians.
“Senator Teslim Folarin is an institution in Oyo politics. At 63, he has remained consistent, resilient and focused on the ideals of progressive governance. His leadership, political sagacity and ability to mentor the next generation are worthy of celebration,” Olaleye said.
The former lawmaker lauded Folarin’s loyalty to the APC and his unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that his role as the President’s Campaign Coordinator in Oyo State during the last general elections underscored his political relevance and organizational capacity.
Olaleye, who is a former two term member of the Oyo State House of Assembly, also commended Folarin for his contributions to the unity and stability of the APC in the state, stressing that his experience will continue to be invaluable ahead of the 2027 general elections.
He prayed for long life, sound health and renewed wisdom for the celebrant, expressing confidence that Folarin still has much to offer Oyo State and the nation.
